July 2, 2021: Portland
Week 25: It’s my birthday! My gift to myself was sending my memoir to an editor. Exciting and terrifying at the same time. I got adopted by a group of weirdos at a bar and had fun going back to goth night together. Didn’t take many pics. Enjoy one art and this badass vest I bought 
July 10, 2021: Portland
Week 26: Take a drive around downtown Portland with me. I had an awesome birthday weekend of food, drinks, and comedy thanks to Mordecai and then spent the Fourth hanging with an asshole at a very competitive cornhole tournament and BBQ. East Portland is gorgeous but downtown is a pretty rough area – not from protests or unrest but bc of an overwhelming housing crisis. Cost of housing is rising so fast that there are just as many people in tents as there are renting tenants. It isn’t just here though… This is something I’ve witnessed in many cities as I’ve traveled. Things can’t continue like this. Something’s gotta give.
July 16, 2021: Portland
Week 27: All the pics this week! I started off with dancing at the HP Lovecraft themed Coffin Club which of course required more black and a corset (you gotta dig for those pics 
) Had a mead tasting at medieval themed meadery, and did the obligatory Multnomah Falls hike with a piece of shit, my ex best friend Anton.
July 23, 2021: Portland
Week 28: Losing track of the weeks! Less than a month left in Portland. Much time is spent with Anton, the domineering asshole, and Erin, and getting to know new friends. I went to an orchestra concert, explored uptown, conducted an interview with the lovely Matt Ocasio (a short story in four pictures) and did a quick touch and go in Mt. Hood National Park.
July 31, 2021: Portland
Week 29: Bar hopping with Anton and Erin. FINALLY got into the Rogue brewery for a flight which was just heavenly across the board. I explored the artsy district, walked across a big bridge, sang karaoke, and started writing a new book.
